Large European Healthcare Provider

Enterprise architecture for AI-ready, sovereign healthcare IT

As enterprise architect for a large European healthcare provider, we helped navigate an increasingly complex technology landscape around AI-supported solutions — bringing clarity on where AI adds real value and how to adopt it responsibly. We strengthened their in-house capability to get more out of the solutions they already owned, and cut procurement spend by optimising their cloud architecture. By moving to a sovereign private cloud provider certified to handle EMR (electronic medical record) data, they gained access to compliant solutions without compromising on data residency. We then architected and implemented a Kubernetes-as-a-Service platform on the same provider, letting operations distribute application load far more efficiently — cutting monthly running costs from day one, with the savings compounding as more solutions move onto the clusters.

  • Assisting with managing real-world delivery of AI services to the organization
  • Migrated to a sovereign private cloud certified for EMR data
  • Kubernetes-as-a-Service for efficient application load distribution
  • Meaningful monthly savings that compound as more solutions are added

Small Production Company

From on-prem to Microsoft 365 with a Teams-driven order workflow

We helped a small production company retire their aging on-prem file servers and move to Microsoft 365. Their local business management system was integrated with Microsoft Teams so that a dedicated Team is provisioned for each customer, and every new order automatically gets a folder with a templated structure copied per order type. The solution runs on Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure API Management, Azure Storage Queues, Azure Storage, and Microsoft 365 — giving the team a single, governed place to collaborate on every job.

  • On-prem file servers fully decommissioned
  • New customer Team and order folders provisioned in seconds
  • Consistent, templated folder structure per order type
  • Resilient event-driven integration on Azure

Projects and orders in SharePoint, not scattered spreadsheets

A production company was running projects and orders on a patchwork of manual steps — data re-keyed by hand between their business management system and Excel, and copied again from one spreadsheet to the next. We moved projects and orders into SharePoint as a single, structured source of truth, replacing the fragile copy-paste flow with lists and document libraries the whole team could trust. As the relationship grew, we stepped into the Enterprise Architect role, helping them align systems, data, and governance for the longer term.

  • Projects and orders centralised in SharePoint
  • Manual copying between the business system, Excel, and spreadsheets eliminated
  • A single, structured source of truth the whole team can trust
  • Grew into an ongoing Enterprise Architect engagement

Large Retailer

Solution architecture for a custom digital-asset platform on Azure

As solution architect for a large retailer, we helped shape the future of their custom-built platform for managing digital resources. We led the move from AWS to Azure and modernised the system's dependencies to align with MongoDB Atlas, so the data layer matched their evolving requirements. Throughout, we stayed in close contact with suppliers and vendors — pinning down the integrations and solutions that genuinely fit the customer's needs rather than forcing a generic one.

  • Re-platformed the digital-asset system from AWS to Azure
  • Dependencies modernised to align with MongoDB Atlas
  • Data layer matched to the customer's evolving requirements
  • Close supplier collaboration to find the right-fit solutions
